Last night when I went to bed,
I found someone's calling me,
Numb with fear, wet with tear,
Someone's calling my name.
I woke up to trace the source,
Then opened my closet and found a box,
Craved with stones, gilded with gold,
But an unhappy mist passed me when just I hold, that old box
.
Me: Who are you, dear young lady?
She: I am the fairy of hope, I guess you know me!
Me: (smiling) who can forget you, dear little fairy
You are the one left for us to overcome the grief and misery!
She: But the world is so rude here, I am not enough to shed to shed your tear!!!
Every single day when the homeless children hope they will have new home,
When the refugees hope they'll go back to their home,
When the poor workers think they'll have a better day,
I just can't help myself to cry!!
Do you know why!
'Cause, I know I cant do nothing for them!
Me: Oh! Don't you think that way, dear!
It seems you do care, for all the people around the earth!
She :( smiling weakly) does it matter!
When I found those people spreading drugs among young,
Will they ever feed those poor children, as they say!
When the old refuge's dream was shattered,
I had nothing to do for him!
When the workshops were closed,
Leaving those poor workers unpaid,
Could I do anything for them!
But still they hope!
Still they remember me!
While I myself know I can't do anything!
And that is why I summoned you,
To tell others what your fairy of hope is hoping
With sudden jolt, I woke up
I rushed to my closet, and found what I thought,
The box has gone.
Fairy of hope left me,
But her spirit is within me still,
And I swear I will overcome her grief.
